Hello,
It is now 12 years since our 1994 shift to the old quarry.
Our planting of various trees and shrubs are now more
mature, providing us with a very tranquil and beautiful
place, which looks natural, as if it has existed for much
longer.
The collection is added to each year as more space becomes
available, and interestingly plants are found.
The fruit trees are producing well, as are the olives and
vegetables.
In the olive grove, friendly chickens, ducks and lambs keep
grass down and bugs at bay, while sheep keep the grass and
weeds down in our gulley.
We now have a two-storied "old fashioned" barn that houses
our olive processing gear and is also used as a mosaic and
lead-light workshop. It blends beautifully in to the
landscape, and lends itself as an excellent lunchroom for
our tour groups if required.
We invite you to view our home, garden and olive grove,
becoming one of many people who have enjoyed the experience
of our personalised and informative tour.
Regards,
Peter
and Eunice Martin
